Hi, I’m Nancy.
I’m a mom of four — three sons and one daughter — originally from Canada, now living in Utah.
For a long time, my life looked like what you’d expect. School schedules, sports practices, family dinners, and making sure everyone got where they needed to be.
And I loved that season.
But a few years ago, things shifted.
The kids grew up. The youngest moved out. They built lives of their own — exactly what we hoped they would do.
And suddenly, life looked a little different.
A little quieter.
A little more open.
And I found myself with something I hadn’t had in a long time:
Time.
I’ve always loved planning travel.
Researching where to stay. Figuring out the rhythm of a place. Finding the restaurants you go back to more than once. Building an itinerary that feels full, but not rushed, and creating moments our family will remember forever.
These days, I travel often — mostly with my husband, sometimes with friends, occasionally with my grown kids — but always with intention.
This blog is simply a place to keep track of those trips.
The itineraries.
The unexpected (and sometimes slightly crazy) moments.
And most importantly, the places worth going back to.
If you’re in a similar season — where life feels a little more open than it used to — you’re not alone.
And if you’ve been thinking about taking the trip, planning something new, or going somewhere you’ve always put off… maybe this is your time too.
If your kids are asking, “Where’s Mom now?”
I hope the answer is somewhere extraordinary.
